The Channel of Recognition (41-30) is the engine of desire — the channel that initiates all human experience through the pressure of wanting and the dream of what could be.
The Channel of Recognition connects Gate 41 (Decrease / Contraction) in the Root Center to Gate 30 (The Clinging / Feelings) in the Solar Plexus Center. This is the Collective Abstract circuit's starting point — Ra Uru Hu called Gate 41 the "Start Codon," the initiating pressure that begins new cycles of human experience.
People with this channel defined carry the pressure of desire — not ordinary wanting, but the fundamental human drive toward new experience. Gate 41 is the root pressure of expectation, the imaginative fuel that initiates the body toward new experience; Gate 30 is the solar plexus's field of desire, the emotional recognition of wanting, the full feeling of a dream.
This channel is the beginning of the Abstract circuit's cycle — it initiates the desire that leads to experience, which leads to knowledge, which eventually becomes wisdom for the collective. Those with it defined are designed to be driven by recognition and desire, and through following those drives, to generate the full range of human experience that feeds collective wisdom. The challenge is distinguishing authentic desire from conditioned wanting.
