About This Center

Understanding the G Center

The G Center (also called the Self Center or Identity Center) is the center of identity, direction, and love. It houses the Magnetic Monopole — the force that holds together the illusion of our separate identity and guides our trajectory through life. It is the compass of the bodygraph.

How the G Center Expresses

Whether this center is colored in (defined) or white (undefined/open) in your chart fundamentally changes how you experience its energy.

Defined G Center

When the G Center is defined, you have a fixed sense of who you are and where you're going. Your identity is consistent, and you naturally know your direction in life. You have a reliable sense of self-love and can be a beacon of identity for others. You are less influenced by places and people in terms of who you feel yourself to be.

Undefined G Center

When the G Center is undefined, your sense of identity and direction is fluid. You are like a chameleon — shaped by your environment, the people around you, and the places you inhabit. The wisdom is in this openness: you can become deeply wise about identity and direction because you experience them from many angles. The not-self trap is fixating on finding a fixed identity or always searching for love and direction.
